IT Support Engineer / Techniker Wanted in Germany – Full-Time, Onsite

Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer or Techniker based in Germany and looking for a stable, full-time onsite role? We are currently hiring Level 1 and Level 2 (L1/L2) IT Support Engineers to join our team at two locations in Germany: Schönebeck and Ilsenburg.

This is a great opportunity for IT professionals with strong hands-on technical support skills who enjoy working directly with end-users, solving hardware issues, and keeping business operations running smoothly.

Job Overview

Detail Information
Job Title IT Support Engineer (L1/L2)
Job Type Full-Time, Onsite
Locations Schönebeck, Ilsenburg (Germany)
Language Requirement German (B1/B2 minimum)
Work Authorization Valid German/EU work permit required — no visa sponsorship
Application Method Email CV to Hafsa.Akhtar@techconnectb2b.com

Job Locations

We currently have openings in two regions of Germany:

  • Schönebeck – located in Saxony-Anhalt, close to Magdeburg
  • Ilsenburg – located in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt

Candidates should ideally live in or near these cities, or be willing to commute, since this is an onsite position and remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Support Engineer (L1/L2) in this role, your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Onsite hardware break-fix support – diagnosing and repairing desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
  • IMACD services – handling Install, Move, Add, Change, and Dispose requests for IT hardware and workstations
  • Desktop support – assisting employees with everyday technical issues on their devices
  • Windows OS troubleshooting – resolving operating system errors, performance issues, and software conflicts
  • Networking support – troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues, including LAN/Wi-Fi problems
  • Peripheral device support – setting up and fixing issues with printers, scanners, monitors, and other accessories
  • Direct end-user assistance – providing friendly, professional L1/L2 technical support face-to-face with staff members

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on hardware work and direct customer service, rather than purely remote or ticket-based support.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • German language skills at B1/B2 level or higher – you will be communicating directly with German-speaking end-users
  • A valid work permit for Germany or the EU – this employer is not able to offer visa sponsorship, so only candidates who are already legally authorized to work in Germany will be considered
  • Proximity to Schönebeck or Ilsenburg – or willingness to relocate/commute to one of these locations, since the position is fully onsite
  • Practical experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or field technician roles is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, basic networking concepts, and common office hardware

Why Consider This Role?

  • Full-time, stable employment with consistent onsite work
  • Opportunity to build experience in enterprise IT support and IMACD services
  • Direct, people-facing role where your technical skills make a visible daily impact
  • Good fit for technicians who prefer fieldwork and hands-on troubleshooting over purely remote support

How to Apply

If you meet the requirements above and are interested in this IT Support Engineer (L1/L2) position in Schönebeck or Ilsenburg, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
